501 WARBURTON AGE GROUP COMPETITION

place between 31 st March and 31 st October and shall be open to members of affiliated Clubs provided they come within the defined Age Groups as laid down.

501.2 All entries to be made through their Clubs.

501.3 Age Groups of competitors to be as at the date of the last Warburton gala in year of competition.

501.4 Individual Events to be:

9 years, 10 years – 50 metres Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, Freestyle, and 4 x 25 metres Individual Medley.

11 years, 12 years, 13 years, 14 years, 15 years, 16 years and over – 50 metres and 100 metres Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, Freestyle and 4 x 50 metres Individual Medley.

Team Events to be:

9/10 years, 11/12 years, 13/14 years, 15/16 years, 17 years and over – 4 x 50 metres Medley Team, Freestyle Team. Clubs may enter one Boys' Team, one Girl's Team and one Mixed Team (Girl, Girl, Boy, Boy) in each of the Team Events.

501.5 The first, second and third placed swimmers in the Individual Events finals or the fastest three swimmers in the Heat Declared Winner Events will receive awards. The first, second and third placed teams in the Team Events finals or the fastest three teams in the Heat Declared Winner events will receive four awards per team.

501.6 Entry Fees to be Individual Events - £3.50; Team Events - £4.50

501.7 Points to be awarded as follows: Individual Events finals, or the fastest six swimmers in the Heat Declared Winner events – 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Team Events finals or the fastest six teams in the Heat Declared Winner events – 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2. In the Mixed Team Events finals or the fastest six teams, the points awarded will be equally divided between the Girls and Boys. Highest number to the winner, the rest in sequence.

501.8 The Club gaining the most points in the Girls Events shall be awarded the Warburton Trophy (Girls) and the Club gaining the most points in the Boys Events shall be awarded the Warburton Trophy (Boys) to be held for twelve months. In the event of a tie on points the Clubs concerned shall hold the Trophy jointly.
