701 INTER-ASSOCIATION PRELIMINARY AGE GROUP COMPETITION AND ASSOCIATION AGE GROUPS SHIELDS GALAS

701.1 The Inter Association Preliminary Age Group Competition and Association Age Groups Shields Galas will be organised annually by the Council.

701.2 The galas will be held in January / February.

•  Conditions regarding Events, Age Groups and Distances to be swum will be as laid down by Council.

•  Entry Fees to the competitions to be:

Individual Events £3.50;

701.5 Entries to be forwarded to the Age Group Organiser 28 days prior to the first gala.

AGE AS 1st February 2009 - 9 year swimmers must be 10 on or before 24th May 2009
Cost per event: £3.50
Coaches pass: £5.00 per Club

The 15 years and 16 & over age groups are open to all Clubs affiliated to Central Lancashire S.& W.P.A.
o
9 to 14 year age groups are open to all affiliated clubs who enter the Inter Association Age Group Competition through Central Lancashire S.& W.P.A.
 
9/10 years is a combined age group. There will only be one winner
 
THIS IS A LEVEL 2 LICENSED MEET
 
ANY SWIMMER WHO GETS AN N.Q.T FROM 1ST OCTOBER 2008 UNTIL THE CLOSING DATE FOR THE INTER ASSOCIATION COMPETITION OR ANY OTHER LICENSED MEET CANNOT SWIM IN THAT EVENT. A SWIMMER MAY NOT SWIM IN MORE THAN 5 EVENTS IN THE INTER ASSOCIATION GALA, BUT CAN ENTER ANY AMOUNT IN THE PRELIM COMPETITION AT BROUGHTONTHIS YEAR WE WILL ONLY BE SELECTING 2 SWIMMERS AND 1 RESERVE FOR THE EVENTS IN THE INTER ASSOCIAION GALA.
